HOODIE BK

FROM THE LAND...

Hoodie BK is a rapper/song writer/producer from Cleveland, OH. Known for his #16barfeels freestyle series and introspective rap style, he has gained a following of 6,000+ fans across all platforms by producing heart-felt, thought-provoking, bar-heavy tracks that can really move an audience.

Growing up, BK spent his days playing basketball with close friends in the greater Cleveland area. Having always had a love for music, he began to pursue a rap dream following his high school days and the loss of his uncle, which sparked his first written verse in 2016.

BK is gaining traction on the heels of two successful singles to end 2024 in “Losing Weight” and “25 Freestyle”, both accompanied by music videos amassing over 120,000 Youtube views. The first installment in his mixtape series “Hits From the Bedroom, Vol. 1” has garnered him attention and notoriety as one of the better lyricists in the Cleveland area.

BK's initial 2021 breakthrough track, “Black Heart Freestyle” opened the ears of listeners on Soundcloud and the live music scene of Westside Cleveland, followed by a string of singles and his “Break Thru” EP in 2023.

He also released a single with prominent Akron lyricist Poodieville titled “OnG” in 2024.

With some subtle radio play and having performed at over 30 live events in the years since the pandemic lockdown, including openers for Wifisfuneral and Fre$hie, BK continues to make a name for himself in the Cleveland scene, with more music on the way. His August 2025 release "MY WAY" came as the high-energy lead single off his latest mixtape "Limited Rest". Featuring tracks like the heartfelt, father-daughter letter-to-the-future in 'call yo daddy' and the introspective, lyrical deep-cut in 'never change', the EP highlights the ups-and-downs of BK's career to date, leaving room listeners to enjoy the stories through the speaker, told from a straight-up hip hop perspective.
